Steve and I watched The Incredibles last night. We gathered up the futon mattress & littered the office with cushion & snuggled up into a blanket in front of my new PC screen. It was the first really relaxing thing I've done since I got home, & we laughed a lot.
But back to earth this morning with an 8.30 call from Fred Smith on a train to Illinois & Arkansas. So strange to hear the station annoucements in the background in a heavy southern drawl! Actually a lot of the minutae of my life seems strange to me at the moment. Like discussing final arrangements about recording Frencham Smith II over the phone & then getting caught up in trying to learn how to froth milk with two litres of full cream that a friend left here the other day. Knwing that I should be putting up Jigzag posters through Fitzroy & Brunswick for our gig next Friday @ Don't Tell Tom... In fact I really should do that now... alrighty then...
