It's been a little while since I've wandered back to this particular corner of the net. The age of the blog is amazing , endlessly fascinating & cripplingly time consuming! I'm in the middle of a really interesting time at the moment. Learning to ski at Charlotte's Pass (look for some photos in the Jigzag gallery), a new Dev'lish Mary album almost in the can, Jigzag gearing up for their 10th Anniversary tour, playing bass for the Boite's amazing Millenium Chorus, solo gigs that will make it to T.V. coming up. Recording some bass for Sal Kimber, Fred smith's return to Oz in November. No shortage of activity for this little black duck! It's such a joy to be alive when I have the good fortune to be working & making art with such lovely humans. I'd love to take a moment to be grateful for all that warm friendship, support & encouragement I'm continuously recieving from musician, audience member, family & friend alike. Still, the brightest spot on my horizon right now is a glorious four consecutive days where Steve & I will sneak away to Ocean Grove South of Geelong to read & watch movies & cook & sleep. Sweet recuperation will sharpen the saw. see you soon I hope! |
